The talent of Rory McIlroy or Jordan Spieth, the work ethic of Cristiano Ronaldo or Michael Jordan. A mixture of James Bond and McGyver, a gentleman that has a solution for every single issue on the jobsite (maybe even on the planet).
Cultural differences? Language barriers? Excuses simply don’t exist in the Doctor’s world. He is the man every mother would love her daughter to bring home for Christmas dinner.
Dirk represents our company on social media, he posts messages with a smile about the adventures he experiences with the team while construction projects in some of the most exciting parts of the world.
Dirk is the iconic leader of our Southwest Greens brand and his no mistakes, no ego, best on planet attitude inspires all of us to be like him. Unfortunately we are human and no superheros BUT we strive to be like Dirk when we working with our clients to realise their projects.

A Canadian, living in Spain, leading a Dutch company connected to an American brand, what can I say? I suppose no one knows what life has to offer. I love the experience of the different cultures working within a global market place. I am driven by what is best descripted as “Best on Planet” attitude.
I seek to find the best solution for every project and executing this with detailed perfection. This drive, combined with my passion for working with a variety of skilled individuals within various cultures and environments allows me to tailor-make projects and provide solutions, propelling an intense boost of personal energy. I lead Southwest Greens Construction, and most of the time your first point of contact. What we believe at Southwest Greens is an evolution in the golf world as we know it. That ambition drives me on a daily basis to share my vision about our industry and synthetic system solutions with the decision makers and innovative entrepreneurs in the golf and leisure industry.It brings us pleasure to execute projects, see successful business cases develop and leave friends with good stories and memories.
Besides golf I am an enthusiastic sports fan, with Real Madrid, the Seattle Seahawks, and the Vancouver Canucks being my teams of choice. But my favourite hobby is to cook for my friends and family. I especially like to BBQ on the Big Green Egg. I must say I can only do this at home, as on the jobsite I am not allowed to shop for groceries or cook as I always blow the budget.
After over two decades working for multinationals like Masterfoods and Motorola I found myself in meetings all day. I had learnt a lot about everything, but didn’t master everything about some one thing.
I always had great admiration for people that could really do extraordinary things. Not only the obvious ones like being good at sport, acting, or playing an instrument, but also specialising within a profession, having expertise based upon a passion for their work; from doctors to painters. The Southwest Greens concept of “creating and executing” golf greens, I felt was my chance to fulfil this desire.
I believe in the previous decade we have pushed the boundaries of the product solutions we offer to the market. As a company we have become a real expert in our game. With a full portfolio and the average project value growing, I find myself back in the office, but still with the benefit of “working in the field with our team”, problem solving and creating end-results, above and beyond our client’s expectations. I push our guys to stay within budget and on schedule, even if those make for long days sometimes. I love classic cars. Porsche is my favourite brand. My ideal day off is to rise early, enjoy a round of golf and drive home having shot level par (I can dream) with the sunroof down.
Hello, my name is Bart, having installed synthetic surfaces for 15 years; I am considered a veteran in this young industry. I love to travel and experience working around the globe. After traveling the world on a cruise ship and working abroad in the UK and Ireland I have settled down in Poland with my wife and son.
During the year, not only do I install residential jobs in Poland for our growing clientele, but I also join Southwest Greens Construction on all of their projects. For me this is the ideal mix of family life and adventure.
Within the team I am the person called on to create the fluid lines and shaping required on the final grading of the putting surface and install the Southwest Green cup systems, tasks that need a combination of skill, patience and experience.

I have worked for Southwest Greens since 2008. I am the team specialist on creating our Bunker-lip solutions. My other role in the team is to organise “the next step” so the team can keep pushing forward, this means all logistics on and off the jobsite. Shopping and cooking is part of this role and I am famous for my meals with chicken, chicken and chicken.
When home I support my wife with her very own successful business and take care of our three beautiful daughters.
Hello, my name is Lukasz and I am the younger brother of Andrew. When I am not working, I love to sleep. When I am not sleeping, I am usually at the job site working.
I like to laugh and even though I am still learning English, I am constantly laughing at Kevin’s jokes.
The Southwest Greens virus grabbed me in late 2007. Being a keen golfer, I believed by entering this industry I would enjoy many hours perfecting my golf swing, but in reality I spend more time creating this experience for my clients.
As the Managing Director of Southwest Greens UK, I pride myself with being involved with every aspect of my business; from talking solutions with prospective clients, consulting with architects and executing a meticulous job-site to fulfil every project succeeds my client’s expectations.
In the UK the market has been dominated by nylon turfs predominantly installed as a flat surface… but at Southwest Greens we are able to offer both the nylon option and our engineered ProSystem sand-filled product, which we install to mimic the natural appearance and performance of a tournament green at a championship golf course, combined with the aesthetics of a fully landscaped golf hole. I am always delighted to arrange visits at a convenient commercial or residential location to enable potential clients to see first-hand how our installed greens look and perform. When I am home, I enjoy relaxing with my family with a BBQ or coastal walk (preferably carrying a few golf clubs)
I represent the Benelux area for the Home division of SWG. I’ve been a member of the family working with synthetic turf since 2010. Furthermore I love love to travel Europe assisting my fellow distributors with exiting projects.
The Southwest Greens brand is a large pillar under my landscape company I started back in 2006. At the start my philosophy was to only to work with the best materials and newest techniques. This “Best on Planet” attitude is what brought myself and Southwest Greens together.
My specialty is gluing the seams and thats why they nicknamed me the “gluemaster” inside the team. Every time we deliver a project to a client and I see the smile on their face when they hit that first shot, gives me the greatest feeling of satisfaction which is why i like what we do.
Our clients are our ambassadors so I always live by my motto: ” I do it right or I wont do it at all”.
Hello, my name is Pzremek, I form part of the “muscle” of the crew, along with my good friend Lukasz. We do all the hard work that the other rockstars don’t want to do. I enjoy music, and take pride in providing the music for the jobsite, only when it doesn’t affect our brand harmony because it is being played too loud…I also enjoy photography, on our many experiences around the world, I love to take the time to take photos of the beautiful countryside that we usually are surrounded by. Although this job is hard work, it is very rewarding for me!
I am the newest member of the team. Wow, we travel a lot…I do a lot of driving for the team, as our logistics across Europe can be intense. Joing the team has been a fantastic experience for me, we work hard, but the spirit is positive and while it can be difficult at times, we laugh a lot. I have a real passion for football and enjoy watching Champion’s League in the evenings during the spring while we are away on our projects. I know that Kevin is a big Real Madrid fan and friend of Bale – I like to give him a hard time when they lose (which doesn’t happen so often) 🙂
