Jiva Hill resort, a 5 star Relais & Chateaux hotel on the foothills of the Jura Mountains in Crozet, France with amenities including the Eurolac Water-ski Academy, the prize-winning Shamwari restaurant and the Jiva Hill Horse Equestrian centre, awarded Southwest Greens Construction the contract to deliver a turn-key solution to be able to offer their clients a golfing experience matching all other of the resort’s amenities.

In collaboration with Diamond Golf’s, Dimitri van Hauweart, Southwest Greens Construction executed a 9 hole course with 18 tees. With a great variety of holes with views of the famous Mont Blanc and the Jura mountain range, both golfers and hotel guests alike have a beautiful and unique setting to enjoy the stunning nature that the golf course and its surrounds provide.

Southwest Greens Construction installed very undulated greens to create a real test for the players. The Southwest Greens PRO System has been used to deliver the 3B’s essential to golfers – defined as ball roll, ball bounce and ball bite.

Furthermore the bunkers on the course have been installed with the SWG Bunker System to create a lasting look and clean solution. In addition, all cart paths on the course feature the SWG Erosion Control Cart Path System, allowing for esthetically pleasing cart paths that blend very well into the golf course environment, while providing the necessary stability from the constant flow of buggies and golf carts.
